Registration Questions

Do I have to register for 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting to present my workshop or poster?

Yes! All workshop speakers and poster presenters for the 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting are required to register and pay the registration fees by October 1, 2026. Presenters who do not register by the deadline will be removed from the agenda.

Do I need to register for the precourse if I am speaking at the precourse?

No. Speakers who elect to attend the precourse will not be charged the registration fee. However, if you intend to participate in any other part of the 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting, please email meetings@im.org.

Audiovisual Questions

What audiovisual equipment is available for my session?

The following audiovisual equipment comes with each presentation type:

Workshop

Screen and LCD Projector
Flip chart and markers
Podium and head table
Theater seating up to 100 people
Free Wi-Fi will be available in all meeting rooms

Does AAIM supply laptops for workshop sessions?

No, AAIM does not provide laptops for workshop sessions and speakers will provide their own laptops; AAIM will provide standard cables to connect the projector to your laptop.

Does AAIM provide Mac adapters?

No. If you require a Mac adapter for your session, please bring one with you.

Conference App Questions

The conference app includes interactive session “Social Q&A.” The Q&A feature is optional and workshop speakers are not required to use it. Below are instructions on how to view and use the Social Q&A.

From the AAIM Conference App:

Select schedule from the list of menus
Select workshop session
Select “Ask a Question” (below the session description) in the “Resources” section
Participants click the + sign to enter a new question
For questions entered by others, click the up arrow (to the left of the question) to “up vote” the question in the list. Questions with the most upvotes rise to the top of the list.

Presentation Questions

Does AAIM print handouts for workshop sessions?

No, AAIM does not print handouts for workshop sessions. If you require handouts for your session, please bring them with you. AAIM will also post your handouts to the conference app along with your presentation.

How early can I arrive to the meeting room to set up my presentation?

AAIM cannot guarantee entrance into your meeting room more than 15 minutes prior to your presentation. Most meeting rooms are in continuous use for sessions or committee meetings. Please check the agenda when you arrive onsite to confirm what time you can access the meeting room.

When should I submit my presentation?

Please submit all meeting materials (slides, handouts, articles, etc.) through the workshop upload link. AAIM provides workshop presentation material to all meeting participants on the app.

Please submit all presentation materials no later than close of business October 1, 2026.

Where do I send my presentation?

Follow the instructions on the workshop upload link.

Why does AAIM request my presentation before the meeting?

AAIM posts presentations to the conference app prior to the start of the meeting so participants may download and view before the session, if desired.

Can I update my presentation after the meeting has concluded?

Yes. Please submit updated meeting materials through the workshop upload link before, during, and after the meeting so that participants have access to the most up-to-date presentations.

Poster Abstract Questions

Do I have to register for the 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting to present my poster?

Yes! All workshop and poster presenters for the 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting are required to register and pay the registration fees by October 1, 2026. Presenters who do not register by the deadline will be removed from the agenda.

How big should my printed poster be?

Each poster will be assigned a 4-foot-tall by 8-foot-wide poster board in the reception ballroom; your poster can be any size within those parameters. Thumbtacks will be provided for your use.

Does AAIM print poster abstracts for the reception?

No, AAIM does not print poster abstracts for the poster reception. Please bring your printed poster with you. All digital posters and presentation recordings will be available to view on-demand in the 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting app.

How early can I arrive to set up my poster?

The 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting poster session will be in-person, Friday, October 17, from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. Please make sure your poster abstract is set up before the start of the reception. Thumbtacks will be provided for you.

When do I have to remove my poster abstract?

All posters must be picked up by 10:00 am, Saturday, October 18. After that point, there is no guarantee posters will be saved.

When should I submit my digital poster and video presentation?

Please submit your digital poster (PDF) and video recording through the poster upload link here no later than close of business October 1, 2026.

Where do I upload my poster material?

Please use the poster upload link and label all files with the assigned poster number. Please contact meetings@im.org if you have any questions about the poster material upload process.

Why does AAIM request my poster material before the meeting?

AAIM uploads digital posters and video presentations to the 2026 APDIM Fall Meeting app prior to the start of the meeting so participants may view on-demand before the meeting, if desired.

General Questions

Can I add additional presenters to my workshop session?

Yes. Please contact AAIM Conferences & Meetings team at (703) 341-4540 or meetings@im.org with any changes to speakers for your session.

Who should I talk to if I have questions while onsite at the meeting?

If you have any questions while onsite at the meeting, please visit the onsite registration desk and a member of the AAIM staff will assist you.

How will workshop rooms be set?

The workshop rooms will be set in theater style for up to 100 participants.

Can I change the way the room is set up?

Because meeting rooms are in continuous use, AAIM requests that speakers do not change the meeting room set. If you need to change the room set, you must return it to theater style at the end of the session.

What items must I submit prior to the meeting?

Please submit the following items prior to the meeting via email to meetings@im.org:

Speaker confirmation forms (via the link provided in the speaker confirmation email), are due Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Presentations are due by close of business October 1, 2026.
