Leadership

The Alliance is governed by a representative board of directors, composed of four officers – President-Elect, President, Past President, and Treasurer – council leaders, and at-large members.

Founding councils are composed of four officers and six to nine councilors, generally elected by member majority voting; most councils also include committee chairs, which are appointed positions. Constituent councils are structured in the same way as founding councils and represent large member groups within APDIM and CDIM; the chairs of the constituent councils hold an ex officio position on the respective founding council.

FY 2028 Call for Board and Council Nominations

The Alliance is pleased to open the call for nominations for all governance positions in FY 2028 on September 2, 2026. All applicants must be current members of the Alliance and remain eligible for a three-year term.

There are two application pathways available:

Open positions for the FY 2028 AAIM Board of Directors include AAIM President-Elect, AAIM Treasurer, and AAIM Board Member At-Large. Council openings vary but include president-elect and councilors. Members are discouraged from submitting multiple applications. All applications must be submitted via the online form no later than September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT.
