The Alliance seeks to provide transformational, professional development to physician and administrative leaders in academic internal medicine. The first foray into the exciting opportunities provided by online and hybrid learning, the AAIM Digital Learning Center (DLC) provides professional development opportunities for physicians and administrators in an online format.

Foundations of Academic Internal Medicine for Education Administrators

Now in its fourth year, this 12-week online course for UME and GME educational program administrators will be offered January-April 2026.  Registration will open in November 24!

Now in its third year, this 12-week online course is designed for department and division business administrators in the first three years of their role.  The course will be offered September-December 2025.

Business of Medicine for UME-GME Faculty Online Course

This brand new six week virtual course is designed to advance mid-career clinician-educators, but all faculty and administrators are welcome to register.  The course will be offered April 30-June 4 and will consist of three one-hour live Zoom sessions as well as individual study.
