CDIM Clerkship Administration Surveys

CDIM Clerkship Administration Surveys

The Alliance launches a biannual survey (in December or January) for completion by administrators/coordinators and other non-physician professionals involved in third- and fourth-year medical student training administration. The CDIM Clerkship Administrators (CA) Member Engagement Committee oversees survey development, with input from the CDIM CA Advisory Council.

In addition to varying thematic content each year, CA surveys are intended to better understand workload and scope of administrator duties due to curricular and structural changes in academic medicine, resource availability for professional satisfaction and growth among administrative professionals in third- and fourth-year medical student internal medicine training.

Survey results are presented at Academic Internal Medicine Week and during webinars, as well as made available to member as summary reports (presentation and summary results files are available below). Survey results also are used to inform member program planning and engagement activities.
